It’s my pleasure to introduce to you Alina, my friend, who is from Finland too.
Although we used to study the same subject in Helsinki, we only met here in Geneva, where she has now lived for more or less two years in total.
In the course of the past few months, she has discovered something crucial about time. She put it this way:
“We live in a society of achievements. No one will tell you when to stop working or to take time for yourself. Spending time with God in the middle of stressful seasons might at first seem like time wasted. But God is outside our notion of time, and time invested into the relationship between you and God is never away from anything else. He will even make your time to be more than what it is without giving some time to him. It’s as if God’s saying to me, ‘My time is more than yours.'”
