As the first part of the People in Geneva series, I’ll introduce to you my friend Rachel who is from Egypt and has lived here for 2.5 years now.
This is something she has recently learned and would like to share with you here:
“It’s not a cliché or nonsense, but when God closes a door, he opens a better one for our best. Of course, it’s normal to get angry at God, asking, how come he takes from us something we thought is good for us. But later we will understand the reason behind the closure of the old door. When we understand why, we will thank him from all our heart for the new door.”
